To support device sustainability and repair, a $15 annual technology fee is required for students in Grades 3-8 and a $30 annual technology fee is required for students in Grades 9-12.

Durham Public Schools is committed to ensuring all students have access to the technology they need for learning. If your family is experiencing financial hardship, you may request a waiver of the annual Student Technology Fee by completing the 2026-2027 Student Technology Fee Hardship Request.
In addition to the fee or fee waiver, students who are new to Hillside or who did not request a device last school year will need to complete a Student Device Agreement Form with a parent/guardian signature. You can pick up a form in the Media Center, print the form below to turn in, or email the completed form to Caroline_Herbert@dpsnc.net.
